What is RSS?

RSS, sometimes known as Really Simple Syndication, is a popular means of sharing content (such as news headlines) without requiring readers to constantly visit a Web site to see what's new. RSS feeds contain headlines and hyperlinks to longer articles or Web pages.

We use RSS to keep you up to date with Donna Lee's upcoming shows.

We recommend the Web-based Bloglines for starters. Windows users who want a standalone application might like Sharpreader. And new ones are coming out all the time. In fact, an RSS-reader plugin is already available for Mozilla-based browsers, and rumor has it Microsoft will build one into the next version of Internet Explorer.

All of this is free

Once you have an RSS reader, you need to subscribe to "feeds."   Refer to the documentation of the reader you choose.
